Trail Designs™, based out of Yosemite National Park, is a California Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) formed in June 2005. The three founding members are mechanical design/manufacturing engineers, specifically Rand Lindsly, and brothers Russ and Lee Zandbergen. |
Trail Designs' current focus is on lightweight and ultralight cooking gear. Trail Designs carrys the full line of Evernew mugs and pots in addition to having designed, developed, manufactured and delivered the:
- Caldera Cone Stove System - An extremely stable and wind resistant alcohol/esbit cooking system.
- Caldera Ti-Tri System - Three fuel backpacking cooking system based on the Caldera Cone design.
- Caldera Keg™ - Pot, Stove, Cone system that probably weighs less than your watch.
- Caldera Ti-Tri UL Compact - Shorter Caldera Ti-Tri Cone designed to nest inside the taller titanium pots.
- Caldera Fissure - Caldera Cone that is split in two horizontally for easier packing in your cookpot.
- GramCracker - A 3 gram solid fuel stand for use in the Caldera Cone systems
- Prime-Lite™ Primer Pan - Primer Pan designed to kick-start almost all alcohol stoves
- Vari-Vent™ Windscreen - Windscreen providing variable vents to close off the upwind side while keeping the downwind side open.
- Classic Windscreens - Classic aluminum windscreens.
