This is the page for fabrics, be they waterproof, breathable, tough or whatever. Thery can be woven, knitted or bonded. Fleece fabrics are included here as they are fabric, but insulating materials such as down and synthetics are not. They have their own page at Insulating
- Waterproof - PU-coated, silnylon, PVC-coated, Tyvek, Cuben Fiber
- Waterproof-Breathable GoreTex, eVent, EPIC, even breathable forms of PU-coated
- Breathable - all sorts of non-waterproof, albeit often with a good DWR treatment
- Pack fabrics - essentially tougher fabrics you would not use for clothing or tents
